A small plastic splint is used for 1 week
Packing if indicated dissolves
Cold compresses on your eyes reduce swelling and bruising
Bruising is usually minimal and disappears within 10-14 days

Ear
Surgery (Otoplasty)
My ears are too
big" or "My childs ears are too big" is a common complaint from
patient and parents. Pinning the ears behind the head solves the
whole problem. People with prominent ears are easy targets among
friends. Children after six years of age can have surgery. This
procedure gives a good result.
Modern techniques in cosmetic otoplasty incorporate both historical
procedures and recently developed combined procedures with laser
assistance to correct protruding ear or "lop ear" deformity. The
multiple-procedure technique is conceptually sound and uses simple,
innovative methods to reduce surgery time and yield predictable
outcomes for both young and older patients. Early indications are
that complications and revision rates have been reduced with the
introduction of lasers in otoplasty. Modern technology allows
physicians to correct "lop ear" deformity and help amend patients’
distorted self-images.
Though there are a number of different approaches which address this
procedure, the most common one involves the reshaping or removing of
some of the cartilage behind the ear. After opening the back of the
ear, the doctor either removes some of the cartilage or folds it on
to itself and sutures it together. Since the work is done on the
back of the ear, any scars are usually faint and can be hidden in
the creases.
This procedure offers dramatic, immediate results that will last a
lifetime. It's a great example of the important psychological
benefits that often result from Cosmetic Surgery.
Complications with this procedure have been minimal, with rare
instances of infection or hypertrophic scarring. Less than 2-3% of
patients require additional surgeries, although occasionally a
secondary revision of the anterior Mustardé procedure may be
necessary. The conchal set-back technique seems to be long-lasting
and permanent with minimal incidence of suture extrusion. The
conchal set-back appears to account for 70-80% of the aesthetic
correction.
Cost begins at $2000, and can go up to $4000.00 in the USA…
typically the identical surgery in Mexico, Brazil, or Costa Rica
will be less than 50% of that, including your travel and
rehabilitation expenses. This surgery is typically not going to be

After surgery, any minor pain or discomfort you experience can be
controlled with medication.
Brow & Forehead Lift
The position of the brow can be genetic or it slowly drops with age.
This can give a sleepy, "hooded" or tired look even at a relatively
young age. The frown muscles between the brows can be
unintentionally overactive and give the impression of being unhappy
or angry. Friends may say "Smile! What are you so worried about?"
when you are not even worried.
Often the
patient thinks they need an eyelid lift. If an eyelid lift alone is
performed, it may alleviate the excessive skin in the upper eyelid
but the brow is still excessively low.
A forehead lift
or browlift is performed with keyhole surgery. The scars are tiny
and they are all hidden in the scalp. Not a single hair is shaved!
The frown muscles are weakened, the eyebrow to eyelash distance is
enhanced and there is less excessive skin on the upper lid, avoiding
the necessity to do an eyelid operation to remove any skin and
therefore there are no scars on the upper eyelid. The eyelid
looks more sculptured.
Cost begins at
$1800, and can go up to $4000.00 in the USA… typically the identical
surgery in Mexico, Brazil, or Costa Rica will be less than 50% of
that, including your travel and rehabilitation expenses. This
surgery is typically not going to be covered by insurance, so you
may want to apply for financing with low monthly payments. This
amazing browlift or forehead lift operation therefore rejuvenates
the upper half of the face, rebalances the relationship between the
forehead, the brow and the eyelid complex and makes the patient look
more relaxed, happier, less worried and often younger and with no
obvious scars to show. Often this is all that is needed for a
patient in her early forties.
Surgical Neck Lift

A neck lift is
performed to significantly reduce the appearance of sagging skin
under the jaw and is intended to provide a natural, attractive and
more youthful appearance with a better contour.
Many factors play a role in the aging of facial skin. These include
the physical environment (sun, wind), the type of skin (elasticity,
thickness), the complexion (pale, dark, ruddy), weight alterations,
nutrition, smoking and menopause.
You may choose
to have a neck lift if you have excess skin or localized deposits of
fat in the anterior part of the neck - under the chin.
A neck lift will
not stop the aging process; it only removes some of its effects,
producing a more youthful appearance. The procedure can sometimes be
done again, if need be, in order to maintain the rejuvenated look.
This surgery can produce excellent results and the scars are usually
inconspicuous.
The operation
consists of removing excess skin and fatty tissue and correcting the
sagging of specific facial and neck muscles. The procedure may take
from one to one and a half hours.
There is a
minimal amount of discomfort following your procedure. You may feel
tightness in the neck where the muscles have been pulled together.
There will be swelling and bruising that may last from seven to ten
days. Keeping your head elevated and applying cold compresses will
help to reduce swelling.
Eye Reshaping - An eye lift or eyelid surgery is a type of
cosmetic surgery. It is used by men and women who want to look
younger. Eyelid surgery can give people a more open look to their
eyes or it can reshape their eyes. The technical name for an eye
lift is blepharoplasty. With the focus on looking more youthful,
this surgery may be popular, but it is also complicated, so you need
to take precautions.
The
eyes may be the mirror to the soul. But sometimes, when people look
at themselves in the mirror, they can only focus on droopy eyes or
bags under the eyes. They may consider blepharoplasty, which is the
medical name of an eye lift. During an eye lift, the surgeon makes
an incision, through which excess fat can be removed. The incision
can be made inside the eyelid, or just beneath the lashes. If there
is excess skin, this is removed as well. The skin and the muscle can
then be made tighter. With the skin tightened, the eye appears
younger and more open.
Puffiness is reduced. Crinkled skin on the eyelid or under the eye
can appear smoother. An eye lift can be done on the upper eye or the
lower eye or both
As with any cosmetic surgery, this is
